OK, I officially call your bluff: I
push all of my chips into the kitty.
I agree that everyone must pay his/her
fair share.
I agree to your every tax increase on
“the rich”
However, there is a price to pay: this
principal applies to everyone, including the “poor”
ALL transfer of wealth payments, from
the very first $, are 100% taxable. Meaning: recipients of food
stamps, free cell phones, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, rental
assistance, FEMA aid, free school lunches, free college scholarships,
Home Afforable Whatever-it-is-called, free public schools w/o paying
appropriate property taxes, customers of soup kitchens, residents in
battered womens' shelters who do not pay, retirement homes where the
resident does not pay,
- like the rich, must pay taxes on the benefits they receive from society, or they will immediately lose the preceding.
- They will get no itemized deductions, no standard deductions, no EITC, no personal deductions, no nothing. The very first $ is taxable according to this schedule, which applies to employed singles:
- first $10,000 is taxed 10%
- the next $25,000 is taxed at 25%
- amounts beyond $35,000 taxed at 28% (no, it is quite easy for a recipient of welfare to get more than $35k each and every year for life)
Truly fair, no?
What say you, Barack HUSSEIN Obama?
