Why Mexicans Vote Democrat, And Always Will

Over the past few days since the shellacking of Romney, I have heard a number of peculiar opinions on the above. A couple are correct, most are not. I herewith illuminate.

The Bushie Wing Is Totally Wrong

Many in the Republican Party, most prominently Rove along with many others, have highlighted the overwhelming vote by Mexicans (that is what they call themselves: there is no such thing as a “Hispanic”) for Democrats as a key weakness. The thinking goes that if Republicans back “comprehensive immigration reform”, they will be grateful and switch overwhelmingly. Unless we do, the increasing demographics of Mexican voters will bury Republicans forever.

What nonsense.

In my personal experience, Mexicans could care less. If it becomes a problem in their employment, they simply go to the Fruitvale District, plunk down a Benjamin Franklin, and they get a top notch fake green card that will fool Napolitano herself.

To answer your next question: OK, smartypants, why do Mexicans always vote Democrat?

Free Stuff

C'mon, we all love it. Witness the showroom floor of complimentary goodies that Mexicans get from the government:

1. FREE FOOD = FOOD STAMPS = Cal Fresh
2. FREE MEDICAL CARE = MEDICAID = Medi-Cal
3. FREE SCHOOL FOR THE KIDS FROM K UP TO 12
4. FREE HOT SCHOOL LUNCH, AND SOMETIMES BREAKFAST AND SOMETIMES SUMMER MEALS
5. FREE TAX REFUND CHECKS FROM THE IRS (most people do not know that even if you are illegal and do not have a SSN, you can still file a 1040 and claim the EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT, which is a refundable credit, meaning that you will get cash from it, even if you have not paid a penny of federal income tax or payroll tax)

Any Mexican, whether legal or illegal, who crosses the border, is entitled to the above and much, much more.

The Bottom Line

Despite what you may think, Mexicans are not stupid. They know that their free goodies come from “ big government”. Therefore, they will always vote for supporters thereof (Democrats), and against opponents of big government (Republicans). It has absolutely nothing to do with immigration reform or path to citizenship or whatever is the latest junk that Rove and the Bushies are pushing.
