More juicy nuggets have emerged (hey,
if you were to write a fiction novel with these, any editor with half
a brain would laugh you right of the office; you simply cannot make
this stuff up).
- The father of Petraeus' supposed mistress has stated flatly the story about his daughter is a cover up emanating directly from the Oval Office
- In his first round of testimony to Congress, the DCIA parroted the line about the assault on the embassy being a spontaneous riot because of an apparently nonexistent video on YouTube.
- Rumors flew about that Susan Rice being O's choice for SecState. In response to being pounded over the choice, O said something very interesting: he said that Rice was faithfully delivering the message about Benghazi as she was instructed. Is O claiming that Rice is qualified, because she loyally told the lie as she was ordered?
- It is not certain that Rice lied about Benghazi, as she may have been truthfully unaware of the facts (keep in mind she is UN ambassador, therefore not in the loop of the daily security briefings in the Oval Office, and certainly not qualified to go on all 5 Sunday morning talking head shows). Nevertheless, she cannot be excused for not recanting
Truth: we still do not what O is
furiously trying to cover up. Consensus is that he was merely trying
to minimize the political impact of a very negative foreign policy
failure just weeks before a Presidential election. For the sake of
our country, let us pray that this is true.
