Today is Easter Sunday. Our Lord, Jesus
Christ, celebrated Passover and was betrayed on Nissan 15 (thursday).
He was crucified on Nissan 16 (friday). He resurrected on Nissan 18 (sunday).
So, today, what do I see when open
Google? The traditional crucifix with Christ? Chocolate bunnies and
marshmallow chicks and colored eggs?
Nope: the ugly visage of that evil Socialist, Cesar Chavez. I do not judge same. The growers of the Coachella Valley certainly financially abused illegal immigrants. Equally wrongly, Mr C demanded a workers' paradise straight out of the Communist Manifesto. I am old enough, and grew up in LA during his hay day, to remember very vividly what he did, what he said, and what he stood for. He was not for the immigrant worker: he was for whatever action increased his personal political influence
